Gift certificate* – for birthday treat, for staff farewell, for dinner and dance prizes, (Staff will use gift certificates received from companies to dine at our 3 brands of restaurants. Staffs can also use the gift certificates to order catering or BBQ online ). There are 2 types of Gift Certificate, namely Cash type or Complimentary types.
Cash types are denominated in value printed on certificate. However companies buy from us at 10% discount. Staffs use this type of certificate as cash alternative. Say, on face value, the certificate states $30, the utilisation is $30, and if bill the is higher than $30, the staffs will need top it up. At company level, company pay for the certificate at 10% off, say $27.00.
Complimentary types are not denominated in value but seen as complimentary; usually this is good for buffet types of restaurant like Seoul Garden. Companies will buy a Seoul Garden gift certificate at S$22 nett per pax, and this includes free flow of soft drink, choice of broth, and including GST and service charge. The recipient of the certificate will not see the value on the certificate but as a complimentary gift certificate.
